Author William Ash created the
Camilions children fantasy with three objectives
in mind. The first objective was to create Camilions as a fantasy that
is designed for children photo personalization. The second objective was to
create an entertaining fantasy world and characters that allow young children
to enjoy a rich story. The third objective was to create stories that left children
with a good message as well as educational values.

What
is a Camilion?
Camilions
are "disguise masters," little creatures that love to be social and make new
friends. Friendship, above all, is what Camilions need to be
truly happy. You've never seen a Camilion as they are almost always in disguise.
They have learned how to disguise themselves and blend into their environment
to avoid danger. Camilions live deep in the forest where they
never saw people. Now
that so much forest has been cut down to build more houses, people live much
closer to the wilderness areas where Camilions live. For this reason, Camilions have become very curious about these strange creatures
called “people.” However, they are mostly interested in children, because
Camilions like to have fun and children laugh and play more than grown-ups.
Camilions are very bright. By watching human people they have learned to talk. But to
really know about people, Camilions need to make friends with them.
So, Camilions are looking for good friends to show them around
and teach them about what people do. Camilions know that their new
friends will learn and have fun with them too. They may even get
to dress up in some of the Camilion’s costumes—the ones that come from
their special disguise packs.
Camilions society has chosen two of its friendliest members, Wentzel
and Bo, to try and make friends with human children and learn about humans.
Wentzel and Bo are extremely excited about their mission, however they must
be careful to follow the strict Camilion rules:
- Camilions
can only be seen by one person at a time and should never be seen by adult
humans.
- Camilions
can only make one new friend at a time, and then they must spend the day with
the new friend.
- Camilions
may share their special disguises with their new friends.
